Let the journey begin. My calligraphy journey, that is. Lately, I haven’t been crafting as much as I’d like. To break the rut, I recently attended a calligraphy fair and enjoyed every minute of it. I was there the whole day, btw. I also bought the first of hopefully many calligraphy instruments. And so, get ready for this turtle to start creating again.😁
When you are doing something for the first time, anything could happen. There are no preconceived ideas of how you usually act or do things. There are no expectations formed from experiences in the past. You can do anything or be anyone you want to be. You could choose to remain as you were before or you could totally change it up. You could choose to act as you used to or discover that there is a more “normal” way to act. You could find a “you” that feels more your own and not just the “you”people have already come to know, have expectations and judgments of, and you yourself have accepted as reality.
The ball is way up in the air. You get to choose what to do with it.
Throw it back up.
Let it fall.
Shoot it down into a million tiny pieces.
You get to choose.
